Woof Me!

December 2008

Dec 31 2008

Out with the old!  In with the new!  If you don't have these 3 sets, you may regret it!  The Geeks came over for 2 classes yesterday and learned how to color with bleach.  PEE-YOU!  But it didn't smell bad because Ann had her Aqua Painters out for them to use.

Isn't this card purdy?  It uses the Summer By the Sea set that's retiring.  It's wonderful for you stampers who like to color.  And that Wonderful Words set is timeless.  OK - that's Ann talking.  She said that both these sets are keepers along with the Canvas Background Stamp.  And all three are going good-bye forever in just a couple weeks.  Better get them now!

Please don't drink & drive tonight.  A taxi's way cheaper.  And I want to see you back here tomorrow!

Oh goody!  The Geeks are coming over twice today!  They'll be learning more fun techniques to do with their stamps & stuff.  I'll give you a sneak peek if you won't tell anyone.  They're doing an updated version of this Faux Tile card.  Don't you just love it?  Ann has the hardest time deciding WHICH thing to do!  She's got a whole library of them!

Maybe you should come join us sometime.  Just take a look at the schedule & see when you're in town.  Just be sure to register early so that you can get the best seat for the best price.

Happy Birthday to Bianca, a stamper I'd love to meet.  I know she'd love me!  We are so much alike!

Got my first bone today.  Nothing but the best for me.  A Christmas prime rib bone.  Cecil left a little meat on it for me.  I hid it really good in the back yard so Ann can't find it.  Hope I remember where it is!

Here's a cool card that fan club stampers made.  I had Ann use Bashful Blue Craft ink & Iridescent Ice embossing powder to do that snowflake focal point.  It's not too late to get that purdy snowflake stamp.  It's part of the Country Living Kit #114447 and comes with chipboard, Designer Paper, a stamp set & lot of accessories to stamp with.  Oh, and instructions if you want to make some photo ornaments for next year!  Only $49.95 for over $90 of stampin' stuff!  And right now, you can get 30% off when you order todayJust email Ann & ask her.  She'll be glad to tell you all about it.  (but it's over on Monday night, so hurry like a Jack Russell!)

And thanks to my buddy, Karen, for the inspiration.  Hers was pink & with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, but I just wasn't feelin' that.  A dog has his reputation, you know.

Dec 27 2008

It's time to get kickin' on gettin' organized!  Here's something really special just for my blog readers.  Anyone spending at least $75 between now and the stroke of midnight in Times Square on New Year's Eve (9pm, Pacific) will get FREE step by step color online instructions to make this cool project.  You can put your own paw print on it, but I do recommend that you buy or have a Forget-Me-Not Keeper (#105525 $11.95) and the Say It With Scallops set #111678 $17.95) if you don't have them already.

Just ask Ann about the supplies if you want to make it just like the picture because the class is FREE with your "ring out the old year" order.  Just click on the picture for a slide show type preview that'll make you drool!  (and don't forget that little board of mine)

Dec 26 2008

Happy Boxing Day everyone!  Ann's told me about Boxing Day and about her 5 years living in England.  That's where my ancestors hail from so I was all ears when she talked about it.

Here's the card I told Ann to make for Cecil.  She thought it was her idea, but I was sending her telepathic messages while I was dreaming in my bed.  Those Big Shot letters really make a difference and went on really easily with the Mono MultiAdhesive.

And here are the 3 Gift Card Holders that Ann sent to her family.  Click on the picture for a good look.  Aren't they cute?  The video instructions are here with more in the video gallery.  They're not just for Christmas and are very quick to do.

There was a lot of hub-ub going on around here yesterday.  They left me for a couple hours, but I was good and guarded the house well in their absence.  I have lots of stamps to protect!

Dec 24 2008

What a wild & crazy day yesterday!  I got to go on a delivery run with Ann.  It was so much fun!  My adoring fan LOVED my little Christmas coat.  I should get the camera out & show it to you.

Don't you just love this bundle of Valentine fun?  Ann's off playing with it while I do some clean up around the website.  Let me know if you see any broken links running around, will ya?

It's almost time for that guy in the red suit to break in through the chimney bring me something fun because I'm such an exemplary pooch.  I'd better go put the fire out just in case.  Wouldn't want him to get hurt on his descent.

Thank you stampers for all the beautiful cards and pictures of your families.  The all look like they're so much fun to play with!

Dec 22 2008 Bet you thought this shadow box was just for Thanksgiving, didn't you?  Well, Ann got some little ornaments at the Dollar Store to dress it all up for Christmas.  I think she's going to send one of these to Texas too along with some leaves and Christmas ornaments too.  Add a few flowers for spring and your done for the year!

Tomorrow's the last day for free shipping on orders $70 or more and for 10% off retired sets.  Better dust off that wish list while you can save some biscuits and shop online or talk to Ann.

Dec 21 2008 Can you keep a secret?  Ann's favorite daughter loved Advent Calendars as a kid.  She'll get this one too late to count down the days this year, but she'll be ready for next year with this fun countdown calendar for the kitchen.  It's funny.  It just didn't look complete until Ann added the second bow to it.

Glad I suggested that.   If you get this from the Decor Elements Collection, just ask Ann so that she can tell you just how to do it.  (Like for one thing, not all cookie sheets are magnetic)

Dec 20 2008 I promised & now I'll deliver!  Here's the card I received from my beloved Doodle Bug.  Isn't that great?  It's a sneak peek at what you'll be able to do with your Big Shot when Stampin' Up! comes out with the texturizing plates.  Isn't that drop dead gorgeous?  Those Texas dogs are pretty talented.  She must really like me a lot!  It's from the Holy Triptych set.

I've got more cool cards from my stamper girls to share.  Come back soon.

And if you have a Procrasti-Santa that hasn't contacted Ann yet, pick up the phone and call her!  (or email if you must)  The number's at the top of the page.  She's got a special somethin' somethin' if you were wanting a Big Shot.  But it's only good until December 23rd when the free shipping ends.

Just wait until tomorrow when I get to share my Christmas card I got from my girlfriend, Doodles.  She is da bisquit!

Dec 16 2008 Sorry that I've been so remiss lately.  It's been THREE DAYS since I spoke to you last!  I peeked in my stocking.  I was hoping for something good to chew on.  I think Santa got confused because I chewed on the last camera.  Just a little nip on the BAG....or so I thought.  Didn't know the camera was in there.

This means that we should be doing more videos because this one has a tripod hole in it!  No more rubber bands holding everything up while I direct.  Gotta love that!

In the meantime, here's a Big Shot idea video from my friends at Stampin' Up!

If you've been thinking about a Big Shot, now's the time to jump on it!  Free Shipping means Santa will have lots left over to get you some dies!

Dec 8 2008 Ann was gone last night & will be partying tonight as well.  TOMORROW she'll show you some cool ornaments, but while she's not looking I'll let you peek at my favorite Christmas card!  OK.  It's the only handmade Christmas card I've gotten so far.  It's from my ball buddy, Gail.  Didn't she do a nice job?  I love it because I wanted this Christmas Classics stamp set & Ann didn't get it for me.  How elegant!

You can have your card featured here as well when you send it to us made with Stampin' Up! products.  Our address is on all your newsletters we send.

Today's the last chance to get in on the Crystal Ball contest!  All you have to do is pick a Baker's Dozen of what you think will retire tomorrow.  12 picks with an extra one for a tie breaker (which will be the last one if you don't point it out).  Have to have your picks in by 9pm Pacific time TONIGHT so that you can win the Deer Friends hostess set!  Email us NOW!  (no demos please)

Dec 7 2008 Well, it's about time, Ann!  She's been thinking about doing a banner since she came back from convention in August!  Don't you wait so long to make yours!  It took literally about 10 or 15 minutes once she started to do it.  And it looks way better in my front hallway than it does in this picture!  Just click for a close up.

Gotta love that Big Shot stuff!  (It's named after me, you know!)

Dec 5 2008 Ann's been trying to contact the lucky winner for two days!  Just wait until she finds out!  In the meantime, see what trouble Ann can get into without me there to guide her.  Lucky for Ann (silly girl) that I was in the editing booth later.  I'm sharing the Director's Cut with you!  Perhaps this will help her learn to tape these things before I retire for the evening.

Dec 3 2008 Oh happy day!  The girls were here last night to make some Christmas cards & cute little Santa bags that were just the right size for my treats.  I'll post those tomorrow.

In the meantime, here's a laugh!  After seeing Ann in this quick video announcing the winner of the 50% off your purchase prize for all you Thanksgiving weekend shoppers, I'm going to dock the pay of my costume designer.

Thanksgiving Weekend Giveaway 08

Some would've won more.  Some would've won less, but the winner was my buddy, Marsha Taylor from Sutter, CA!  YIPPEE!  Perhaps she'll give me a kiss & a cuddle when she comes over tonight for the Technique Geeks class.

One can only hope.
