Woof Me!

November 2008

Nov 30 2008 It's the last day of the month!  How can that be?  It's the last Christmas card class too!  At least we got to play Christmas songs this weekend.  Kinda seems strange when humans listen to Christmas songs before Thanksgiving so I just forbid Ann to do it.

We'll share some of the cards this week.  The Holiday Extravaganza is in it's last 48 hours.  These are the bundles that are now sold out:

  • All in the Family Bundle
  • Santa's Stocking Stuffer
  • Curly Label Punch Bundle
  • Mission Embossable Bundle
Remember you can have up to TWO ways to win!  Win half your order with any size order &/or win $100 gift certificate for every $50 of your purchase.  Only about a dozen spots left.

Nov 29 2008 So I'm hearing good things about how much you like the video to make this card.  Thanks!

Ann & I ran around so much yesterday I think she got the start of a blister on her foot!  Save yourself....no, SAVE YOUR SANTA from doing the same & take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s blissful bundle sale they call Holiday Extravaganza.

They're already sold out of these bundles:  All in the Family, Mission Embossible & Santa's Stocking Stuffer, but there's more cool stuff left.  No matter what you buy, you still get a chance to win half your order free!  Just gotta get it in by Monday!

Nov 27 2008 Happy Turkey Day!  I don't get any turkey, but I don't complain.  I get dog food made out of free range lamb.  Man, my life is rough!

Ann stayed up all night to get this video to you.  I think she's starting to jibber jabber because she most certainly can't do my typing up to her usual quality.  We've done a twist on an old technique.  I told her to call it Faux Silk with a POP!

See a close up of the card here in the Art Gallery.
Or more technique videos in my Video Gallery.

Are you thinking that you want to get one of the cool bundles?  Better hurry up!  Even if you want something not on Stampin' Up!'s list, you can still get a chance at winning the $100 stampin' gift certificate AND 1/2 off your entire order!   But you've got to order now through December 1st.

Nov 26 2008 I just love this card!  Ann did a version of it last year on the Sac & Co. (Sacramento & Company) TV show.  I like this year's version better.  It's one of the cards you can make if you're signed up for the Bags & Tags Potluck on Tuesday, December 2nd.

Only 2 spots left!

Nov 25 2008 Is the moon too big on this?  It's got some of the Stampin' Up! Chunky Glitter on it.  It's enough to make me howl!  Please let me know so I can tell Ann.

Remember to check me out tomorrow - or at least check your email box if you're on my special newsletter list.  The Stampin' Up! Holiday Extravaganza Special starts tomorrow & you don't want to miss out!

Are you lovin' getting a card almost every day?  Wait until you see the hecka cool one that Doodles, my official girlfriend sent me.  I'll see if I can rub the drool marks off next time Ann gets the camera out.

In the meantime, there are more new cards in the Art Gallery.

Nov 24 2008 It's Thanksgiving week!  I can almost smell the turkey!  Are you ready for the big Holiday Extravaganza?  Wednesday is the big kick off.  If you're not on the newsletter list, you might just miss out.  That's who's getting the news FIRST.  I love you all, but Ann's readers who are enjoying their 12 weeks of Christmas ideas on top of that cool newsletter get the lowdown first.  (Just go to the top left of this page & throw your name onto the list.)

While you're waiting, check out the Art Gallery.  Got new stuff in there, including this cool WOW! card from 24/7 Stamper, Deb Kelley, in New York state just for you!  Is it cool or what?  As always, just click on the picture to see a life sized version.  Be careful not to drool on your screen.

Nov 23 2008 The Calendar Girls were over here making their calendars yesterday.  Sure kept me running around!  The my best ball buddy Gail came over.  She & Ann were sitting at the table for an awfully long time (in my estimation).  They were laughing and carrying on.  Next thing I know, there was this creature with a hat on that looked a lot like a gift card holder!  YIKES!

Scared the BeeGeeBees out of me when he flew off the table!

Gail's a snowman fanatic.    I should've known she would've put Ann up to something like this.  What Ann won't do for you stampers!

Nov 21 2008 The line was drawn on the paper.  We had to answer the call.  It was an inspiration challenge to bring together these colors:  Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa, So Saffron & Whisper White.  Ann stood over the table for a few minutes & eventually saw stars in her future.  She went wild with all those Stampin' Up! punches!  Just click to see it closer.

This really looks better in person with all that Iridescent Ice on all the stars.  I'll try to get a shot taken in better light later today.  All the ladies that stamped with us last night ooooo'd & aaaaaah'd all over it.  Good thing we took this picture before any drool dropped on it!

Have you challenged yourself lately?  Gotta do it!  Come to Ann's classes (if there's room).  We'd love to have you.

Nov 20 2008 Before I share my heart, here's a sneak preview of my next video subject.

Not every dog is as lucky as me.  I've got all the stamps & ink I could ever hope for and hugs to boot.

Today I'm sharing a video of a different kind.  Please help me help the Humane Society stop the use of puppy mills.  This video isn't graphic (lucky YOU!), but the facts are there and you can help stop Petland Stores from using puppy mills to increase their profits at canine expense.

Remember - especially at this time of year - a puppy is a gift that lasts a lifetime.  It's not something to put a bow on.  It's a commitment.  Many Jack Russells have to be rescued because you think we're so darn cute....until you have to live with us.  We're not the kind of puppy that can be left alone.....or outside...for long periods of time.  We're the dog that likes to sit by the fire at the end of the day.

When I was a pup, I ripped out a hole in the carpet the size of a shoebox when they went out for about 45 minutes to vote .  Good thing they waited to replace the carpet until after I grew out of that phase - assuming I HAVE grown out of that phase.

Thank you, Ann, for letting me step off my favorite topic of stamping for a minute for this important message.  Back to happy stampin'!

Nov 19 2008 Want to go shopping for your favorite stamper?  Trying to get a wish list together for your favorite Santa?  Just click on the package for a printable wish list to inspire you.

Now, if you're looking for something for me, be sure that you buy something that you can hold at your house for me.  Then invite me over!  Ann has a lot of stampin' stuff that she won't let me use much, but I'm sure you wouldn't mind my using yours.  Right?

Nov 15 2008 Ann's off to stamp again!  And while she's away, I'm featuring something cool for all you CHOCOLATE LOVERS!  (Personally, I imagine it with some dog treats in it.)  It's made with the Cardinal Christmas set and that way cool ribbon in the Holiday Mini.

See?  Stamps are for more than just stamping & scrapbooking!   There are a few seats left in the Bags & Tags SOS Potluck night.  Grab one while you can!

Did you know that Country Living Magazine is featuring Stampin' Up! in their December issue that's on news stands now?  They're featuring this cool bundle of stampin' fun that worth over $90 for only $49.95.

Ann's offering a gift certificate for $10 towards your next 2008 purchase when you purchase the special Country Living package online this weekend.   Make cards, ornaments & just plain fun stuff with this huge bundle of fun!  Get it while supplies last for only $49.95 AND get a $10 gift certificate from Ann towards your next purchase!  But you've gotta do it online & it's only from my stampin' buddy, Ann Clemmer.

Gotta love that!

Nov 14 2008 I can tell it's a full moon because people are just so crazy!  Thank you to Linda Gutierrez who honored me with this award.  Now how nice is that?  Linda's been doing a lot of work lately.  Feel so bad for her, but how nice it was that she thinks I'm such a creative dog!  Thank you, Linda!

Unfortunately, I'm still on restriction & not allowed to play tag, but it was very nice of Linda to honor me with this.

Ann showed the Scrapamento Stampers her chewed up apron last night.  When she came home, I presented her with my apology shirt.  It says...

"Life is good, but dogs make it better."

Ann liked it.  Nothing says "I'm sorry" like new clothes!   OK, maybe new clothes with glitter on them!

Nov 13 2008

Miss me yesterday?  Hope so.  I was thinking about you all day & how I could share a little Stampin' Up! technique tutorial on How to Watercolor.  And just for you, here it is!

Don't you just love me a little bit more?

Speaking of coloring....did you want some markers?  Want them all?  Thinking that's a lot of cash to put out?  Either you can ask Santa or join a marker club!  In 4 months you'll have a set of markers & free stamps!

Just ask Ann.  She knows everything that I don't (& I know a LOT!).

Nov 11 2008 Happy Veterans Day!  Now what is wrong with this picture?  The internet goes down for 8 hours.  When it comes up, Ann has 118 email messages.  I HAVE NONE!  Good thing I know you love me!

I'm off to shoot some film for your next video treat.

Oh yeah - I hope you're all caught up on your Christmas cards.  Tomorrow night is our SOS (Stamp or Scrap) Night, but the November 29th Last Ring in Your Jingle Christmas Stamp A Stack is sold out, BUT if you talk to Ann, she's starting a waiting list for Sunday afternoon.

Nov 10 2008 Tomorrow is a very special day when I'll be able to reward my favorite veteran and resident Big Dog....Cecil.  But TODAY is a special kick off for stampers & scrappers!  I think of it as 20 for 20, but Stampin' Up! is calling it Rub On Some Cheer.  Spend $20 & you can have all the rub ons your little heart desires for 20% off!  That's only $8.76 for all that rubbing!

And if you want a really good laugh, you can check out our FIRST video, Rub, Rub Rub-Ons.  I'd like to think that I'm a better director now, but it's only 3 minutes long so you won't suffer much.  We just did it as a lark, but it was the start of something really good.  (I feel like someone's showing my puppy pictures to my first date!)

Here's a cool card that they did at the Jingle-fied class on Saturday.  The November 29th one is filling up fast.  Don't wait until the last minute because Ann promised that she's going to have less seats available this time around.

Stop by for dinner on Wednesday & Stamp or Scrap until they drag you out of here.  It's always a fun night at SOS Night.  I'm sure they'll all want a sneak peek at Thursday's installment #7 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas, but my lips are sealed!  Be sure you're on the newsletter list!

Nov 9 2008 99 little dog bones on the wall.  99 little dog bones!  Take one down, pass it around, 98 little dog bones on the wall.  So, I'll bet you want to know which video was voted the favorite of the last ten!  It was the Big Shot Scallop Circle Gift Card Holder!  A big 10 toes up for those of you who voted.  Guess you like the ones with money in them!

Here's Ann's version of Karen Johnson's tag (see Nov 7th) that she's doing at workshops right now.  (I think Ann's becoming a Big Shot junkie!

What fun we had here yesterday at the Jingle-fied class!  YOWZAH!  All those little toes to sniff!  And better yet, lots of Stampin' Dimensional and Sticky Strip covers to test taste.  You'd think that I'd get used to it.  Honestly, I didn't eat any today that Ann could catch, but I did have a nice little bite of Stampin' Up!'s cool Designer Paper while Ann was cleaning the tables.

Hope you can come next time.  Our Last Ring in Your Jingle class is on Thanksgiving Saturday.  It's already over half full, so register quick so you can get in on the fun!  But if you like the smaller, more personal venues, we've got those too!

Nov 8 2008 Ann was out late stampin' with some fun girls up North.  She came back with lotsa new smells and all inspired to stamp some more today with a full class that wants to get Jingle-fied!

I'll see if she'll let me have the camera tonight so that you can see some of the cool new stuff I inspired her to do.

Congratulations to our latest Big Shots!  You know who you are.  ;-)  Have you voted for your favorite video yet?  Make sure you do that by Sunday!

Nov 7 2008 I think I'm on restriction.  Ann hid the camera.  I hope she's not taking away my artistic director duties.  I did find this picture I've been saving for a special occasion.  It's a cool Winter Post tag by my buddy, Karen Johnson.  Ann's doing a version of this at her workshops.

Honestly!  I like both of theirs!  (But Karen's has that cool Rope Twine that's in the Holiday Mini (#113017).  Love to wrap my lips around that!

There is hope in site.  Ann felt that one ball might not be enough to keep me hopping so she bought me another ball exactly like my favorite one!  I saw her buy some treats too while I wasn't looking.  I'm pretty sure she still loves me.  I hope!  I hope!

I'll let you know when I'm off restriction.  In the meantime, I'll work on the next video tutorial in my mind.  This one's a NEW idea.  Those Technique Geek stampers got a glimpse of it and really liked it.  Until then, I'll be on my best behavior.

Nov 6 2008 Do you think that Ann can see me in here?  I hope not because am in so much trouble!

I know that Ann was saving some treats for me in her Stampin' Up! apron.  I know she was!  I just didn't realize that she'd already given them to me.  She had company and so I faked it like I wanted to back to bed.  While Ann wasn't looking, I pulled her apron off the hook & started searching for the treats.

I was very quiet.....much like I am now.  I didn't see the opening to her pocket so I made one.  I didn't find the treats so I ripped through the back side too.  I thought I was doing well to eat the evidence.  Perhaps she wouldn't notice if I didn't leave any strings or fabric behind.  Guess that was the wrong answer because she went to the vet and got my special Roto Rooter food that helps me digest everything.

Do you think that this is why Cecil calls me a little goat?  Good thing my health insurance is paid up.

Tomorrow I'll try to share some pictures of the apron.  Come on!  What's 3 or 4 inches between friends?

Nov 5 2008 Congratulations to the winners from yesterday.  Losers - I will be holding some professional training on how to lick your wounds.  Please email me.  Now...let's all get going with some important stuff!  STAMPING!

We had a blast here last night.  Lots of feet to sniff & stampers to flirt with.  I could tell.  THEY LOVED ME so much they're all coming back next time!

Now to get ready for Saturday!  If you haven't started on your Christmas cards, then let's get stampin'!  Register today & get Jingle-fied on Saturday when you make 12 cards with envelopes.  I think I've got

Ann convinced that they should make this one with the Ski Slope paper.  I've got a good eye for art.

And make sure you vote on your favorite video of mine!  If you've already voted, check back on the stats.  If you haven't, you can check my technique videos out here.

Nov 4 2008 It's ELECTION DAY!  Tonight is Ann's Technique Geeks night.  They're going to be so busy learning 2 techniques that they're not going to have time to TALK or WATCH politics.  They're taking a break from it all.

Since you're already in the voting mood, I'm offering a vote of my own!  You can vote for your favorite technique video.  I looked at some of the older ones and I think that I've come a long way.  hope you are enjoying the ride so please let me know which one you like best!

If you want to get Jingle-fied, please register for the class now.  No registrations will be accepted past Thursday noon so please get your friends in!

Be sure to check out the Country Living Special Sampler for making ornaments.  It is WAY COOL!  You can see it here.

Now....have you voted yet?  (voting for favorite video has concluded)

Nov 3 2008 Are we having fun yet?  Ann left me all alone while she went up to Live Oak yesterday and mad some fun new stampin' friends.  That's okay.  I finally caught her with her finger in the chocolate box when I stayed home to edit this latest technique video.  My Big Shot Buddies will love this one.  Gotta use the Sticky Strip because it just doesn't work as well without it.

Don't miss the surprise ending!  Enjoy!

Nov 1 2008 Hope you had a happy Halloween & that you kept your little 4 legged friends safe.  Ann's off in a few minutes to party with the crafters up in Live Oak.  But before she leaves, she asked me if I would share Stampin' Up!'s latest special.  It's a really cool one where you can get an exclusive stamp set and make lots of cool ornaments & cards.  Just click on the picture on the right and get all the deets.  (Details)  You can get the whole package today with the item #114447 so you'll be ready early this year for a custom Christmas.

The new Winter Board is already 1/3 full so someone might be enjoying a nice little $100 Stampin' Up Gift Certificate exclusively from Ann WAAAAY before Christmas!

She promised me some time in the edit booth sometime this weekend.  We filmed a fun project for you Thursday night.  Just gotta do some expert cutting and sound editing and you'll be enjoying another Stamper Dog production.  In the meantime, make sure you don't miss the cool Stampin' Up! video featuring my heart throb CEO & Co-Founder Shelli Gardner that I shared in the October 24th post.
