Woof Me!

April 2009

April 30 2009 I can't wait until you the pictures we took!  Last night, when the stampers came to see me, Snoopy, the Jack Russell next door was up in a tree!  They weren't sure if he was going to get down!  He's a real pistol, but he's got those long legs.  Personally, I have all the power I need in my little legs.

This cool little ditty is Jolene's card for the 24/7 Stamper's swap.  She used the Big Shot with fabric!  Just click here to look REAL close up.

We've got to say a prayer for Jolene.  She's feeling like the flu right now.  We're just hoping that she hasn't eaten any pork lately.

Check back tomorrow for a jump on the May Stampin' News!

April 29 2009 It's a subversive plot!  The Comcast fairies pulled my plug!  Ann came back from her team meeting Monday night ready to help me update the blog and no connection!  We could watch all the TV we wanted to, but no Internet!  I think they do that just to distract you!  Then they show up before the appointment.  Then they don't show up at all!  What!  Do they think I bite or something?

Anyway, here's a picture of one of the projects she did with our 24/7 Stampers.  Karen popped a couple of these out for our long distance stampin' sisters.

And here's Bobbi's swap card.  Don't you just love it?!?  (I think my batteries are low so the pictures not as crisp as Stamper Dog's Standards usually require)  I'll be posting some of their swaps soon, but if you like this set, tomorrow is your last chance to get a free stamp or note card set from page 208 when you order $40 from the Occasions Mini.  Believe me!  It's an easy task.

Look in your mailbox, Lyn.  Your swaps are going out in the mail today!

We're almost out of time for you to become a demonstrator on our team at $50 off the already valued Starter Kit Price.  Please email Ann today or call her at 530-674-5090 so that you can jumpstart your own Stampin' Up! Business!

April 27 2009 We've been getting ready for Ann's class on Wednesday.  Here's a sneak peek at an alternative way to do the project.
This note card packet set is made with the new Walk in the Park papers.
It's an alternative idea you can make with the ideas from this week's
MAX IT OUT Class.  We'll be making 4 note cards & a presentation pouch.

There are still a few seats left if you register here today or tomorrow.

April 25 2009 I'm such a nice guy.  I'm going to offer you something really sweet.  Here's a cool group of projects for those of you who like to take a chance.  Spend $50 this weekend and not only get the instructions to make this cool gift set for your card shark buddies, but you'll also get a chance at winning $50 on my Bark Board.

Yes, humans, the Bark Board is back!  Every time you spend $50 OR invite Ann over to stamp with your friends (I think you call it a workshop), you'll get your name on this board - or really one like it.   When you win, you'll get to use your $100 prize towards buying anything you want from the catalogs OR to pay for classes OR towards your Starter Kit to kick off your stampin' business!

Couldn't be sweeter!  Remember that there are just a few days left to get free stamps!  Here are the deets about the Stampin' Up! special here.  Free stamps!  Gotta love that!

April 23 2009 Did you have a happy Earth Day?  Hope so.  It was crazy busy around here!  Lots of you stampers signed up for Ann's newsletter at the top left of my blog.  You are in for a real treat!

Here's a green card idea for you.  The next time you make your friend a card, write on a post it note - "This is a green card.  Use it again for someone who is as special as you are to me."  Is that cool or what?

Here's a card made by one of Ann's friends at the Seattle Stampin' Up! Regionals.  It uses the Soft Summer set in the Occasions Mini.  Now that would make an excellent green card!

We got our Twitter page working again!  We were upgrading the pictures on it & all of the pictures disappeared.  After several attempts, our Twitter page is now officially divine....and we were there before Oprah AND Ashton Kucher!

Just a few days to get your paperwork in to start your stampin' business for $50 off!  Ann's one of the few demonstrators that can offer this right now.  Let us help you get started on the right paw.  Talk to Ann today so you won't miss out.

April 22 2009 First, let me share a picture with you.  May make my Doodles jealous, but I just have to do it!  I met another girl online this weekend.  She's an agility champ too.  I don't know what it is about me that attracts honored athletes.  Anyway, Sadie is a Miniature Schnauzer from Little Rock, Arkansas.  Isn't she sweet?

Here's one of Ann's favorite cards from the Stampin' Up! Seattle Regional Seminar that Ann escaped to last weekend.  I think she's going to buy this Baroque Background stamp just to make this card.  Isn't it cool?  I love it too.  If you click on it, you'll see the paper piecing that the artist did as well.  She said it was on glossy cardstock.

P.S.  Don't worry, Doodle Bug.  I still love you.

And happy Earth Day everyone!

April 21 2009 Human, oh human!  Things are really popping around here!  Ann's combing through all her ideas and deciding which ones to share first!  she was so inspired at the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Seattle that she came home and sent this card to someone special.

Isn't it cool?  It was inspired by a bag she received when taking home some leftover cheesecake from a factory up there.  She's going to do it again with a splash of So Saffron so that she used all the colors in the bag.

Funny where you humans get your inspiration!  I just read my email & go outside.  That's enough for me.  How about you?

Here's some inspiration!  Spend $50 in your choice of products & Ann will send you the online instructions for this cool set of projects featured on the left.  PLUS you'll get a chance to win a $100 Gift Certificate for your choice of Stampin' Up! products only from Ann (& me).

If at least $40 of what you buy is from the Occasions Mini, Stampin' Up! will throw in a free item from page 208 of the catalog

Got questions?  Just ask Ann.  I've probably confused you enough already.  (There's also the one I did in the last post for new demos.  So many cool things, so little time!)

April 19 2009 Ann's coming home today!  I was worried about her as she actually left Seattle to make a surprise visit to her hometown of Tacoma, Washington.  YELP!  She can't go home without ME!

Isn't this a cool card?  It was made by a new friend that she met at her table at the Seattle Regionals.  If you look close, you can see Stampin' Up! co-founder & CEO, Shelli Gardner in the glass.  How cool is that!  Can't see it?  Just click on the picture for a close up.

She's also got the authority to offer you $50 off your starter kit for a limited time.  What a good way to kick off your stampin' business!  Drop her a line today so that she can help you get started on the right paw - er, foot.

Can't wait to see what else she comes home with!

April 18 2009 Life is so crazy around here!  Good thing I have my buddy Gail to look after me.  Ann flew the coop with her friend Karen to go to the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Seattle.  I'd type more, but human oh human, it is hard to type without opposing thumbs.

BUT I CAN DO IT!  I was on Twitter WAY before Oprah was!  You can follow me on Twitter by clicking the link at the top left with the little bird.

Ann was up at Seattle sharing some of our secrets with about 400 demonstrators.  I'll be sure to snag some of the best pictures when she gets home.  In fact, she has some really cool specials that she's authorized to share with you so STAY TUNED!

In the meantime, I'll be hunting & pecking.

April 16 2009 I can't believe that I missed talking to you for a couple days!  Honestly, I've been on restriction.  It's been really windy around here & one of the boards got loose on the fence.  Ann came out to look for me, but I was out & about.  Not telling her EXACTLY where I was, but I was out.

I heard her calling so when she opened up the garage door, she saw me sitting on the neighbor's lawn across the street.   I should go on a jaunt more often because when I ran over to her, she rewarded me with peanut butter!  My favorite!

Hope you like this card they did at stamp club this week.  It's done with sets from the Occasions Mini catalog.  I would think that those of you who like quilting would find it especially adorable.  Tempting Turquoise & Garden Green?  Never would've used them, but they ROCK with this Flock Together Designer Paper from Stampin' Up!

April 13 2009 Oh for joy!  The Dog Park is about to open up!  I wish I could be there, but I'd have to go solo as Ann will be at the Sacramento Rubber Garage Sale on May 2nd.

I was one of the first supporters to buy an ad.  Don't I look good with the sign?  This was taken last year at a fundraiser for the Yuba City Dog Park.  I was very excited that day.  Ann was too pooped to pop as we had a rubber stamp garage sale that day too.  So forgive her for her not looking as good as I do.

I can't wait to make some new friends down there.  More art tomorrow!

Easter 2009 Happy Bunny Day everyone!  Ann's off to church with my buddy so I'm going to share something really fun today!  Here's a link to a Stampin' Up! video on how to make the new Big Shot 3-D Pop Up Ball.  It's super cool.  You can put lots of picture of me or your other favorite people & pets on it.

Hope you're having a fantabulous Easter!

April 10 2009

Oh goody!  The Geeks are coming over twice today!  They'll be learning more fun techniques to do with their stamps & stuff.  I'll give you a sneak peek if you won't tell anyone.  They're doing an updated version of this Faux Tile card.  Don't you just love it?  Ann has the hardest time deciding WHICH thing to do!  She's got a whole library of them!

Maybe you should come join us sometime.  Just take a look at the schedule & see when you're in town.  Just be sure to register early so that you can get the best seat for the best price.

April 9 2009 Are you ready for the bunny to come?  I've never met one up close but I sure do like those birds that come in the yard!

Here's a card I threw together in honor of the ones that got away.

April 8 2009 Happy Birthday, Mitzi!  She's never met me yet, but I'm sure she'll love me when she does.  I just have that way about me.

Yesterday I entertained some of my favorite stampers at Technique Geeks.  We continued on the Wild About You theme with this cool card using the Wax Paper Resist technique.

If you missed it, they'll be getting together next month too!  Just gotta get in before all the seats are gone!

April 7 2009 It's Technique Geeks day!  I love it when the stampers come that really want to know what cool thing I've come up with.  Do you think I should show them how to do this one?  If they're fans of my videos....and who wouldn't be....then they already know how to do it.

But maybe they forgot!  If you haven't seen my tutorial video on Faux Crocodile, check it out here!

April 6 2009 Another week to wonder WHAT IS SHE GOING TO STAMP NEXT?  Ann's looking at me kind of weird.  I think she's sizing me up to stamp a big inky wet one on me!

I'm hiding out until it's safe.

P.S.  Just so you know...in February Stampin' Up! raised money from stamp sales to help those that lost their homes in the fires in Australia where some of their demonstrators live.  They donated almost $78,000 Australian dollars!  I just know if Ann ran out of dog food, one of you stampers would come to my rescue.

April 5 2009 THIS, stampers, is not the best card Ann ever made.  It's okay.  The glitter helps.  BUT....as with many things, it's what's inside that counts.  (keep scrolling to see inside.)

This is a special birthday card for a special someone.  She's not a stamper so she probably won't see this before she gets it in her mail this week.  It was the first card that Ann made with the Big Shot Cake Pop Up Die.

Let me take a minute to welcome two new 24/7 Stampers to our team:

 - Bobbi Kline, Sacramento, CA

 - Kang Vang, Olivehurst, CA

They're coming by for a meet & greet so they can give me a kiss & a cuddle on Wednesday.  (Ann calls it training, but I don't see any dog treats around.)  Can't wait!

April 4 2009 Can I get a little help here?  I have to admit that I can't do this one alone.  Ann & Cecil have been married 27 years today and I don't have enough puppy toes to count that high.  I know they got married before Ann was born, but other than that, that's way before my grandma's grandma's grandma was just a glimmer in some handsome dog's eye!  Human oh human!  Cecil deserves an award for this!

If you'd like to bake a cake like this one, just click on the picture to see the two new pop-up dies that have just been released by Stampin' Up! for your Big Shot.

We're bringing back my $100 Giveaway Board!  I think I'm going to call it the Barking Board!  You get your name on there for once for every $50 that you spend &/or when you host a workshop.  When it's full, Ann gives away a $100 gift certificate to be used for your choice of Stampin' Up! products.  Gotta love that!

PLUS as a little anniversary special, for today only, Ann is going to give a little sampler of the new Walk in the Park Designer Papers featured in the Occasions Mini to those of you who order online or by email.

(psst - in fairness to Mr. Cecil, she might not email you back until tomorrow, so online is fastest.)

And just in case you're not aware, there's a way cool special going on right now to help you Get Connected.  Just pick out & purchase $40 of items from the new Occasions Mini that was just released and you'll get to pick any item FREE on page 208 of the latest Idea Book & Catalog.

Just click on the little page on the right to see a larger version of the stamps.

April 3 2009 Check out all my little friends that they made on April Fools Day with Ann!  Of course, I oversaw the whole thing so that everything went off without a hitch.

Just click for a close up.

Didn't they do a good job?  Love that Matchbook Die!  Gotta get one before they sell out!  Those of you who purchased a Big Shot Starter Kit from Ann can get free shipping on all your Big Shot dies!  Love that!

Welcome home, Cecil!  Glad to have you back.

April 2 2009 Well, in case you were wondering, I never heard back from Stampin' Up! Co-Founder & CEO, Shelli Gardner, as to whether she'd want a job as our assistant.  Since I ingested the contact info for the warrior, I guess Ann will have to continue assisting me herself.

Have you checked out those cool Window Sheets in the new Occasions Mini?  Here's a little video to give you some ideas on how to use them.  No Windex required!

Come back tomorrow & see the cool Easter projects that the stampers made at the Drop Your Wallet event last night!  It's where Ann celebrated the 5th Anniversary as her coming out as a full time Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

April Fool's Day 2009 Ann was in Hawaii taking her hula lessons and did some interviews for a new assistant.  She's wanting this guy with the spear, but she lost his phone number.  I don't know how helpful he would be trying to help set up the projects for everyone to stamp.  That's a long way for him to bend over!  I'm afraid that he'll step on young handsome me!

If Ann asks you if you've seen his phone number, DON'T TELL HER to look in the back yard!  I may not have totally destroyed the evidence.  I'm only looking out for my little puppy toes.

MY choice for an assistant is pictured below right.  It's someone else that Ann knows.  I think she would be the best assistant EVER.  AND she's better looking too!

Today's stampin' treat comes from my buddy Ruth.  She's got a big heart - just like me & my my friend over on the right with Ann!

Be sure to check out the new Occasions Mini Catalog!  It's da bomb!  The Barking Board is back so you can win a $100 shopping with us OR by hosting  your own workshop!

PSST!  In case you didn't know it, my suggestion for an assistant is Stampin' Up!'s co-founder & CEO, Shelli Gardner.  Happy April Fools Day, humans!
